I Used To Think

Wednesday, February 5, 2014
I used to think that defacing a book was a "crime".
Obviously I've gotten over that.
(Just don't tell the used book dealer down the street.)

All these pages are still "in progress"  . . .
but wanted to share more from the class I'm taking with Misty Mawn.
Gosh she's got an idea a minute - I can't keep up!
Good thing there's no time limit - I've got a project list to keep me busy for weeks!

I have several books, but haven't been able to start doing it - thought I would start with a Readers Digest, since they are not so "precious". Forget who the artist is, but that's all she uses, and has stacks of them. Also, trying to do altered to "found" poetry, like http://austinkleon.com/ in Blackout Poetry. I thought I would paint the pages of another book, then paste in pages of the blacked out poetry.
