Thanks for an opportunity to win a spot. When I art journal, I either draw/paint, collage or both, just depends on how the mood strikes.

I shared on facebook.

Hi Tracie, I have tried lots of techniques in my art journal. I am finding that the things I do most often are watercolor and ink. I like to put quotes or words from a song in my journal. I like to put quotes from books I am reading. And I love to doodle flowers and then fill in with water color. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in 21 secrets. Congrats on your success as an artist!

Hi Tracie,

I would love to play in this workshop with you, thank you for this offering.
How do I "art Journal", well that's the questions still being explored, how I journal today is not how I may do it tomorrow. At the moment how I do it is with intention and openness, whatever shows up shows up, medium and technique are what I grab in the moment.
Gxx

I *love* art journaling! I have a couple different ways so I can mix it up and not get stuck with one thing. I enjoy splashing acrylic paint, collaging, etc in over-sized old books with gessoed pages. I have a smaller sketchbook that I take places that I zentangle, watercolor, draw/letter with colored pens, etc in. And then I have loose watercolor paper pages that get any and all mixed media thrown at it. 21 Secrets looks like an awesome class!

Hi Tracie - thanks for the chance to win a spot - I'm so broke! I do have my Megamillion ticket, so that could all change tonight, but in the meantime, I'd love to win.

I'm pretty new to art journaling, and I'm really kind of still trying to find the style/medium/way that's right for me. I started the year in an altered book and journaling with a group. I didn't like the rigidity of prompts, and I found the book too small. Then, I switched to simple, oversized composition, I left the group, and I've just been doing my own thing, and really feeling like I'm expressing myself.

Thanks again for hosting a giveaway!

Here are two links to my recent journaling adventures - the first shows a couple of journals I'm working in, and the second, some pages. Scroll down to the bottom, the art journaling stuff is towards the end of of both posts.

Hey Tracie, thank you so much for this opportunity! I've joined 21 secrets last year and it was AMAZING, it would be great to join again. :)

Mostly I do art journaling in a simple sketchbook, A4 size - I use mixed media: old book pages, acrylics, water color, oil paint, gesso, crayons etc

You can find some of my art journal pages by tag at my blog: http://dryadajournals.blogspot.com/search/label/Art%20journal%20pages

Or all my work at my Tumblr blog: http://dryadajournals.tumblr.com/

Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend! xxx

i am relatively new to it all, about a year. but i am trying everything. i have many journals, and am painting, doing the letter love class, mixed media is a favorite. i am just in love with art after all these years. i am 63 and have done quilting, stained glass, woodwork, doll making, you name it but never art. my ex husband was a graphic designer and my fiance is a retired art professor so i was kinda intimidated but finally decided to just go for it and now i am hooked. thanks for the chance to win. hugs, lura

Would love a chance to win a spot with 21 Secrets!

I am fairly new to art journaling... only a few months now. I started with just a simple notebook and moved into a hard bound sketchbook journal and have already bound my own coptic bound journal that I'm currently working in. I love that one the best.

Some of my work can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/becjac67/

I am also leaving a link on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/becjac67

I am pretty new to art journaling. The book I am working in is an altered book the I paint, doodle and collage into. Some pages are all about the art, others are more for recording my days. I have found the whole process so good for my creativity.

I would love to land a spot in the 21 Secrets workshop. I watched your video and I am fascinated by your methods!

Hello!

I've been an art journaler for years, but it wasn't until last year that I realized that it is so much a part of me. I have three different places/ways--a sketchbook for sketches, another just for using watercolors, and last but not least, a mixed media art journal where I really get messy!
